From policy to practical : a deepdive in the importance of cybersecurity for digital inclusion
We are pleased to invite you to our upcoming webinar, where we will introduce our new position paper on ‘cybersecurity as a key condition for digital inclusion’.
Digitalisation is creating many opportunities for citizens, organisations and society as a whole. But as our reliance on digital tools grows, so do the risks linked to online fraud, and cybercrime. For many citizens, and especially for those who are already digitally vulnerable, these risks can create fear, mistrust and exclusion from essential digital services.
This is why we believe cybersecurity should not be seen only as a technical issue. It is also a social and inclusion issue. A truly inclusive digital society is one in which everyone can participate safely, confidently and with the right support.
What you can expect
Cybersecurity as an inclusion issue — We will also discuss why cyberskills are essential to participating in our digital world, and what this means for the way we design awareness, prevention and support measures. We will get insights from experts in the field such as

Dialogue with the ecosystem — The webinar will also include a dialogue with the wider ecosystem. We want to create space for reactions, questions and exchange with our members and partners: how do you recognise this challenge in your own organisation? What initiatives already exist? And where can stronger cooperation make a difference?
