Join us for an online, interactive and insightful lunch session with Fien Vanden Bussche, Charlotte Heremans and Karolien De Nul from Ligo.
Ligo consists of 13 Centers for Basic Education. They provide tailor-made courses that strengthen the communicative, numerical and digital skills of low-literate adults. Together with other organizations, they support their students in increasing their opportunities in society.
Ligo knows how to run collaborative projects and turn inclusion goals into real impact. You’ll hear concrete case studies, learn replicable methods for outreach and training, and get strengthen your knowledge on how to actually get started.
Digital inclusion is not just about connectivity, it’s about ensuring every person can use digital tools with confidence, dignity and purpose.
Whether you work in social services, libraries, cultural organisations, public administration or tech-for-good, this session will help you design and scale initiatives that make digital participation a reality.

As a staff member at the Ligo federation, Fien is passionate about raising awareness about low literacy in society. With a keen understanding of the many barriers people with low literacy face, Fien translates her expertise into impactful actions aimed at increasing understanding, accessibility, and inclusion.

Charlotte is a staff member at Ligo Halle-Vilvoorde and builds strong regional partnerships, from initial contact to implementation. With a career-long commitment to Ligo students, including experience at VOCVO and the Strategic Literacy Plan, Charlotte brings a wide range of expertise. Driven by commitment, Charlotte makes a difference for students and partners every day.

Karolien De Nul
Karolien is a career counselor and educational coach at Ligo Halle-Vilvoorde. She has extensive experience teaching digital lessons for both Dutch and non-Dutch speakers. Whether in the classroom, at work, in a community center, or at school, no context is unfamiliar to her!

Ali Chari
Ali Chari is passionate about social innovation and connecting with and make connection between people. A passion he can fully put into practice in his role as Community lead at DigitAll, the organizer of this event. He will put the context of digital inclusion in Belgium and moderate the webinar.
